Science
We will cover several different topics in 3rd grade science. One of the major components of the science program is helping students learn to read and understand informational text. Students will also need to be able to use appropriate study skills.

We will study the following topics this year:

Plants and Animals

Plant and Animal Interactions

Earth's Land

Matter

Energy and Forces

Cycles on Earth and In Space

Through this study, students will learn about minerals, rocks, fossils, Earth's resources, the water cycle, weather, and the Solar System.
