Math and Science Integration: The STEM that Bridges!
is
an innovative project that
emphasizes the use of technology to
deliver the Tennessee science and
math curriculum for grades K-9.
Math and Science Integration
will integrate technology toward the
mastery of standards, learning
expectations and performance
indicators as indicated in
the Jefferson County System
Technology Plan Goals and the
Tennessee Science Curriculum
Framework.
The goal of the
project will be develop integrated
units that will focus on math,
science, and technology integration
for grade levels 3-8 and physical
science at the high school level.
Participants will explore on-line
resources, current philosophy, data
collection, graphing, use of
calculators, funding sources, and
many other related topics.
Rising Above
The Gathering Storm is a report
to the U.S. Congress from a
committee selected by the National
Academies. The report addresses
science and math education reform.
