Students will be introduced to formulas and review concepts for solving equations. |

Students will be able to transform literal equations and to be able to solve problems using formulas. |

Opening the Lesson:

Review rules for solving equations, discuss inverse operations, and review definitions. |

Developing the Lesson: |
Students will complete note taking guide, do examples as a class, and practice problems. Students will complete the calculations for the Free Fall Lab |

Closing the Lesson: |
Review process for solving literal equations. Assignment is from the Prentice Hall Algebra I textbook pp. 113 # 1-24, 29-40. |
