Our Meeting Board
Each morning we will meet and discuss the plan for our day.
Two helpers are assigned each day to help with the calendar,
thermometer,
and weather chart.
We count the days of school and practice writing the number for the
day.
This review every day helps me to understand the world around me.

Zero the Hero
Zero visits our classroom each time the days of school end in a
zero.
She helps us to understand the value of the numeral zero in developing
and understanding place value.
"Zero the Hero, came to school.
Zero the Hero, she's so cool.
Zero the Hero, keeps her space,
So all the other numbers will stay in their place!"
