Course Standards

At the conclusion of this course, students will have:
  1. Explored various human cultures.
  2. Examined and analyzed economic concepts.
  3. Applied the essential elements of geography to appreciate the web of relationships between people, places, and environments.
  4. Studied the economic roles and responsibilities of citizens living in a democratic society and how governmental policies have economic consequences at the national, state, and local levels.
  5. Identified historical events that affected the development of the United States.
  6. Explored how individuals and groups work independently and cooperatively.
