Capital Letters
Every sentence begins with a capital letter.
The dog ran away from the girl.
Were you at school yesterday?
That tree is going to fall!
Proper Nouns
A proper noun begins with a capital letter.
We live in Tennessee.
Kristen is a nice girl.
They are going to Salt Lake City.
Punctuation
A complete sentence which makes a statement ends with a period.
A question ends with a question mark.
A statement expressing great excitement may end with an exclamation point.
Examples of Correct Punctuation
Christopher went to the park today.
Did you see the lions at the zoo?
That tree is going to hit the car!
Give the book to her.
Which of the following sentences is correct?
Jill is going to the store with tommy.
Do you live in texas?
She visited France.
Ashley likes to visit walt disney world.
The correct answer is C.

   The first letter of the sentence and the proper noun are capitalized.  The sentence also ends with the correct punctuation.
