Math
Math is a very hands-on experience by the use of various manipulatives.  Manipulatives help us learn several skills, such as calendar activities, counting, number recognition, simple addition, graphing, shapes, patterns, story problems, money, sorting, time, length/measurement, and weight.  The manipulatives used in our classroom include pattern blocks, teddy bear counters, linking cubes, plastic money, dominoes, playing cards, tangrams, student clocks, measuring tools, and various other hands-on materials.  As you can see, we engage in a variety of math activities with plenty of pencil and paper activities to support our learning.
