Camp Read Along is an exciting new summer
reading enrichment program being piloted this year for Jefferson County students
entering Grades 1-5. This summer, it has been held at Jefferson Elementary
School. Reading experts note that most young readers suffer a loss of reading
skills during summer
down time. This need not be the case! Camp Read Along provides reading/writing
reinforcement in a FUN "camp" atmosphere.
