A teacher or a student to find facts about history or world geography could use this site.  This site is very helpful to teachers, they can just type in a specific subject and it will take you to packets the teacher can buy and to different lesson plans.  This site offers maps, photography, news, education, live events, and forums to help you find what you are looking for.

I thought this site was very interesting.  Any teacher for any grade level could use it.  This site is published by National Geographic magazine, so you know that it is good and very credible.

Lesson plans and units

The purpose of this site is to allow teachers to get lesson plans for their classesThis has a whole bunch of lesson plans on different lessons that fit with the Curriculum standard for grades 6-8.  This does not cover just one topic but a few different standards in the curriculum.

This is a good site to find lesson plans.  The lessons are hands on and designed to get the kids involved and keep their attention.

This site is to be used by students alike. It has information that both can use.

This site has information about the important documents in our nations history.  It has
links to things such as the Constitution and the Declaration of Independance.  It also has
information about the founding fathers and the Supreme court.  There are fun activities
that students could use to make learning fun.  There are crossword puzzles that the
students could do.

This site is a great scource of information.  It has not only the documents themselves but
also fun facts about them.  It is a great learning tool.

This site is to be used by teachers and students to gain knowledge about our presidents
and about presidents that have passed.

This site contains information about all he presidents that the United States has had..  It is
a great content resource.  It also has information about the tours that are available to the
public. This is a great way to help teachers pln possible field trips to Washington DC.  The
site also has links to other forms of government.

This site is strong in the area of government.  Due to the fact that it is a government site it
is an authority on the United States government.  It it capable of handling any need in
relation to government or the president.

5.Smithsonian Institute-http://www.si.edu/

Internet Project and Content Resources

This site as all kinds of information about the Smithsonian Institute.  It can be used to visit
all kinds of virtual exhibits on the net as well as learn about the museums themselves.

This site has information on all the museams that are in the Smithsonian Institute.  There is
information on all kinds of subjects.  There is also has the option of  taking a virtual tour
of the exhibits in the museam.  In this tour you can look at exhibits and even move them to
get a look at the entire thing.  There is also information that teachers can use in planning a
field trip to the museams.  The have all that a teacher would need to plan a trip.
