We do many projects throughout the year.  When we learn about the planets, each child becomes a travel agent.  Their mission is to make a planet brochure.  When we study Tennessee History, each child is assigned a famous Tennessean. They research that person, and come to school dressed as their character.  In first person, they tell us about themselves, where they grew up, and how they became famous.  We do many other interesting projects.  One of the projects we did last year was Flat Stanley. Below is a few pictures we received from Flat Tiffanie.  She did an amazing job traveling the U.S.

We also do a geography project with postcards.  Once we receive them, students are selected to read a postcard, locate the origin on a map,  calculate the distance between Dandridge and the postcard's origin, and discuss similarities and differences between our school, state, and region and that of the postcard's origin.
