Expectations, Classroom Rules, General Procedures, and Grading Policy

I.     Expectations:

        7th grade marks the beginning of what used to be Junior High School.  It marks a time in your life when you are expected to act less like a small child and more like a young adult. I would prefer to treat you like the young adults that you are, rather than the small children that you used to be. However, it is your behavior and attitude that will dictate how you will be treated.  If you wish to be treated like a young adult, then you should be prepared to follow the expectations and procedures outlined below and in the rest of this handout.  If you choose not to follow these rules, you should be prepared to accept the consequences of your actions.  With that said, here is what I expect of you as young adults

There are certain things you should expect from me. You can expect me to:

o  BE PROMPT!: Be in your seat and ready to begin work when the bell rings. 

o  BE PREPARED!:  Have all supplies everyday. This means:
