Graded Papers
I prefer to send papers home once a week rather than daily for parents to see. This affords them the opportunity to grasp the scope of lessons and better gauge the success of the student. Also, when the work folder goes home on Friday, the parents may view the contents over the weekend and return the folder, signed, on Monday. This teaches responsibility to the child, and I know more conclusively that the parents have seen the work.
