4th Grade 09-10 - Supply List
Please understand that there are reasons why I don’t use certain items
like: Erasable pens, spiral notebooks, pencil boxes, Trapper Keeper, etc.
The picture shows most of the supplies I’ve asked
you to purchase. They cost of these is about $18.36 with tax at
Wal-Mart. On your list, I’ve listed the before tax cost
in parenthesis. You do not have to purchase your supplies at Wal-mart.
Other stores such as Target,
Dollar Store,
Family Dollar, Dollar Tree, etc. will probably have these supplies as
well.
___ 3 - packs - Wide Ruled Notebook Paper- not college ruled. It takes about 900 sheet per child to last out the year, ($ 0.75/each)
___ 5 - Plastic, 3 prong notebook/portfolios with pockets: One of Each Color: blue, green, yellow, red, & purple ($0.97/each)
____1 - 3 Ring Pencil Pouch, no pencil boxes. This pouch fits nicely in the 3 ring binder and helps students keep up with all pencils and erasers.
___ 1 - pack of Ticonderoga (yellow) #2 pencils. Last year, we threw hundreds of pencils in the garbage due to their cheaply made composition. The Ticonderoga pencils seem to be one of the longer lasting brands. 24 Pencils for ($3.48 for a 24 pack)
___ 1 pack of 6 - pink, block Pearl erasers. No cap erasers please. ($2.00)
___ 1 Pack of Colored Pencils, 12 pack ($1.00)
___ 1 - 1"(one inch), 3 - ring binder with pockets. No Trapper Keeprs or Zippered Binders- We do not have room for them. ($1.27)
___ 1 - Composition Book, No Spiral Notebooks ($0.70)
___ $15.00 school fee: Checks should be made payable to White Pine School
___ 1 - Set of Headphones for computer use. Each child will need one to help prevent the spread of lice. These headphones will be left at school.
___ 1 - Backpack, not rolling and large enough for the student's books to fit in.
