Susan Price and Linda
Heffner's
Camp Read Along Literacy Projects

After reading "The Paper Bag Princess," the students created Paper Bag
Princesses out of a paper bag.

Students made good use of the cheetos bag after snack. Each
cheeto in the bag has student writing about the story on it.

These mobiles look neat. Notice the reading skill the students
were working on was fact or opinion. I bet the kids had so much
fun they barely knew they were working!

These projects were made after reading "The Jester Lost His
Jingle." Inside the folded paper castles are lots of student
writing.

The folded paper houses contain comparisons the students made between
the stories "The Three Little Pigs" and "The Three Little Javelinos."
