Students really enjoyed our time outside as we participated in the Olympic events. No scores were kept. Just all the kids participating in physical activities! I tried the jump ropes a couple of times and then volunteered to see if the kids could bounce me out of the parachute like they did the balls. What do you think? They tried so very hard and shook that parachute as hard as they could. Please start sending back the pledge forms and money. Every little bit helps our school provide materials for our children. Thanks. Thanks to Mr. Hughes for treating the kids without money to ice-cream almost every week. This is one way he is giving back and it is his way of honoring those who helped him when he was a child. Maybe our kids will grow up to do the same kind of good deed. We are back to a regular week of lessons so be looking for those spelling words. Kids caught on very quickly to "Read My Mind" and several were successful in doing just that. Pictures day is coming up, Thursday, October 2. Usually a reminder sticker is sent the day before. Dress your child appropriately. Important Dates coming up: October 2 - Picture Day This
page is from my classroom web site. Please visit it to see what we
are doing in the classroom each week.
