Grading Scale

| A | 4.0 | 93-100 |
| B | 3.0 | 85-92 |
| C | 2.0 | 75-84 |
| D | 1.0 | 70-74 |
| F | 0.0 | 0-69 |
All grades are earned by the student's effort and accuracy of answers. It is not all up to me. Hard work, self discipline, and help from home are all components of success!
- Number and letter grades are earned in third grade.
- Students earn grades through class work, tests, quizzes, projects, and class participation.
- The total number of questions and/or problems given determine how each item is weighed.
- Students are responsible for turning in ALL class and homework on the following school day.
- Students will receive a ZERO "0" for every missing assignment; however, the student will still be responsible for completing the assignment during recess.
As of June 11, 2012:
Students will still be
required to correct missing problems or questions on tests, quizzes,
and homework; however, they will not receive credit or extra
points, nor will they receive a new grade. The grade they received on their original assignment is
the grade they have. This decision has been made to help students
realize the importance of studying and prioritizing activities at home
and outside the classroom.
